Colleen Herczak Honored as an Influential Woman in Manufacturing
Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing (“GRAM”), a leading parenteral contract development and manufacturing organization, is proud to announce that Colleen Herczak, Vice President, Quality, was selected as an honoree for the 2020 Class of Putman Media’s Influential Women in Manufacturing.
Colleen was chosen due to her compelling achievements and inspiring story. In addition to overseeing GRAM’s quality management and compliance functions, Colleen is a key decision maker in the company’s new facility and expansion project. Among the “GRAM-ily”, Colleen is known for her collaboration, advocacy of autonomy and flexibility, and ability to ask the right questions to help guide her teams to impactful solutions.
In addition to furthering GRAM’s path to growth and success, Colleen is highly supportive of professional development for females in the manufacturing and life sciences industries. This is evidenced by Colleen’s leadership in organizing a female networking forum with MichBio and hosted at GRAM’s Grand Rapids campus last June, which discussed differing paths to leadership in a male-dominated field and the impact of a diverse workforce on GRAM’s business success.
Colleen is among 20 women from companies including General Mills, Dow and Emerson who are being recognized for their leadership in manufacturing and dedication to progressing their organizations as well as advancing the next generation females in the manufacturing industry. The honorees will be recognized in a special edition e-book this summer and at an event in September.
